Roy Den Hollander Suckered Us
Ladies’ Night Unconstitutional?
December 17th, 2007 by Baba Ganoush · No Comments
I’ve always viewed “Ladies’ Night” as an opportunity for bars/clubs to attract patrons on off-nights (Sunday through Thursday), just as a promotion to make some money. From my experience though, it usually just turns into a sausage-fest of epic proportions. The place usually gets packed full of dudes, while a handful of ladies get wasted. Actually, I guess this is just like any other night in a bar/club, except that the girls get discounted drinks.
Well, Roy Den Hollander has had enough. This New York club goer, has put his foot down and filed a lawsuit against a number of clubs in Manhattan, stating that he was discriminated against by the ladies’ night promotions because they offered discounted admission and drinks to female customers of the same age.
Smart move, man. This sounds like a little pent up sexual frustration from one too many “Ladies’ Nights” gone wrong. What’s his end goal here anyway? Does he really want to tell some girl that he made a bunch of money by suing NYC clubs and is the reason why “Ladies’ Nights” have been abolished? Sounds like a winning pick-up line to me.
I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have a shot in hell at getting anywhere with lawsuit, but if you want to read more about it, enjoy! |
